Reservation for the following year begins on the first business day in January.

Classroom

All reservations and payments are to be handled Monday through Friday during the Nature Center hours. A Use Agreement form must also be signed at that time.

Please note: Alcohol, balloons and confetti are not allowed in Sandy Bottom Nature Park.

Conference Room

All reservations and payments are to be handled Monday through Friday during the Nature Center hours. A Use Agreement form must also be signed at that time.

Maximum capacity of the room is 100 for auditorium-style seating, 75 for table & chair seating. The attached patio is included in the rental fee, as well as plenty of tables and chairs, a TV/VCR, an overhead projector screen, and amplified microphone. There is no telephone or internet access in the room.

Nature Center

While the park itself is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year except Christmas, our Nature Center is open to the public 7 days a week. Please see Nature Center hours on previous page for hours and closing. The building a conference room, classroom and our administrative office. The Nature Center is also a home to some non-releasable wildlife which is free to the public to view.

Shelters

A number of outdoor facilities are available for use year-round. Sheltered picnic areas can be reserved for a fee - the others can be reserved free of charge.
