I am very pleased to share that Council adopted the FY 2013 budget on Wednesday evening. The employee compensation package that we recommended was adopted without modification. The changes and benefits which I outlined last week will be in place when we begin the fiscal year in July. read more

I am writing to give you an update on our budget process. I apologize for not getting an update to you sooner, but it has been extremely busy the last couple of weeks.
Council has held two readings on the budget – one last week and one this. So far, there has been positive reception to most of the budget. While there are some modifications that will likely be made, as there always are, I am very hopeful that the part of the budget relating to the workforce will not be impacted.
