Customer Service SpotlightCity Manager's Exceptional Service Award (Customer Service Cup)Every Fall the city manager presents the Exceptional Service Award, also known as the Customer Service Cup, to the team who best exemplifies, characterizes and promotes the principles of customer delight through their daily interactions with the public and other city employees. To be considered for the Cup, a nomination letter must be submitted to the City Manager in a sealed envelope no later than the advertised deadline, September 15, 2009. The nomination letter should include the name or designation of the team (including department/division), a list of the members, and a description of why the team is deserving of the Cup award. Nominations may be submitted by anyone, may be anonymous, and teams may also self-nominate. An award ceremony will take place during Customer Service week in October. Employees will also have their names memorialized on a plaque located in the City Hall lobby.
